Dr. David Wendel, D.C., A.C.N., C.C.F.W.N.
Dr. Wendel has been practicing Chiropractic for over 25 years. He did his undergraduate work at Drew University graduating in 1987, with a BA in Economics and Zoology. He continued his education at National College of Chiropractic, obtaining his BS in Human Biology in 1989, and his Doctorate in Chiropractic in 1991. Since that time Dr. Wendel has taken post-graduate hours in Clinical Neurology (308 hours), Applied Clinical Nutrition (194 hours) earning his ACN certificate in 2011, and Certified Clinician in Whole Food Nutrition (100 hours) earning his CCWFN in 2014.
Dr. Wendel got involved with whole food nutrition in 2003, when his youngest son at that time was diagnosed with ADD/ADHD and was told that nothing would help his son except Ritalin. Dr. Wendel was able to use whole food nutrition supplementation and Chiropractic to save his son from the horrors of psychotropic drugs. Dr. Wendel has helped thousands of people to regain their health and sense of well-being using his natural eastern-style approach to health care. Dr. Wendel helped patients scattered throughout not only the United States, but also the world.
LaRonda R. Moorefield, MSW, LSW
LaRonda is committed to effectively supporting the needs of individuals, groups, families, and special needs populations by employing a strengths-based perspective in her social work practice. She has been a Licensed Social Worker in the States of Pennsylvania and New Jersey since 2013. LaRonda has been employed with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as an Early Reach Coordinator since May 2014. In this role, she is charged with providing outreach, education, advocacy and consultation services to transition age youth with disabilities.
LaRonda is a proud alum of Marywood University where she completed her Masters in Social Work and Behavioral Health Specialization in 2013. In 2010, she obtained her undergraduate degree from East Stroudsburg University in Sociology. While pursuing her degrees and establishing her career, she joggled a variety of responsibilities that resulted in her developing strategies of self- care. LaRonda will be discussing the importance of self-care as it relates to our overall health and well-being.

Mayra Ruiz, ABO, A-C, NCLE
Mayra is a fully trained and certified Lash application and permanent Make-up Artist. She is the owner of Mai Lash and Brow Studio and her goal is to provide exceptional customer service to every client. Mayra makes every appointment a personal and customized experience to enhance your beauty! She is trained in eyebrow micro-blading, eyelash extensions and enhancement of natural lashes. Mayra is also a Licensed Optician through the ABO [American Board of Opticianry] giving her a nationwide certification. She is currently working as a Licensed Optician and will address the importance of eye and lash care. Mayra will do a brief workshop on lash application as well.
Mayra holds a Bachelor degree in Biology from Rutgers University, an Associate degree in Ophthalmic from Essex County College and two years invested in studies for a Masters in Physician Assistant - Seton Hall University. She speaks four languages [English, Spanish, Italian and Japanese]. Mayra is a self-proclaimed independent Hispanic woman who is looking to overcome obstacles and succeed in whatever she puts her my mind to do. One of her goals is to own her own Optical shop. Mayra also loves encouraging women to be the very best version of themselves.

Latoya Davis-Meadows
Latoya has 23 years’ experience in banking. Currently her main focus is ATM & Debit card disputes. As an Operations Specialist, LaToya processes electronic funds transactions, payrolls, wires & Visa disputes. She will address the importance of safe guarding our finances. Latoya’s main focal point will be on fraud; in addition, she will touch on understanding one’s credit.

Lavinia A. West
Lavinia understands the necessity of planning, protecting and managing ones finances. She has been budgeting for many years. As a wife and mother of four, she had to create and maintain a budget. Lavinia is going to present the importance of managing and maintaining ones credit and how it effects interest purchases (cars, homes, etc.) She will give some tips on how to pay down debt, plan for emergencies; just to mention a few things that contribute to financial wellness. Lavinia will also be touching on some of the scams that are targeting individuals, especially since the pandemic.

Lavinia holds three academic degrees (a Bachelor of Science in Business, an Associate in Science with Honors - Accounting, and an Associate in Science with Honors - Business Administration). Before retiring, she had acquired a vast amount of knowledge and experience in business for several years. Lavinia has worked as a Tax Preparer, Credit Analyst, Accounting Clerk, Personnel Director, Human Resources Rep, H.R. Coordinator and an Administrator. Lavinia looks forward to sharing with the CWTT attendees how financial wellness is one of the components that impacts overall balance in our lives.
